They welcome guests all year, and their rates are very reasonable. They have 2 saunas, and a boathouse with rowboats.
They are a truly hospitable family, I have known him since we were both in high school in the USA in the 1960s. He's fluent in Dutch and English. She is Finnish, but speaks good English and Dutch (and probably several other languages) Their two young sons and little daughter are charming and friendly, but if you don't welcome them into your life they are certainly able to leave you alone.
I have visited them the past two summers, and they have been delightful host and hostess. I intend to visit them again in the summer of 2004, and I have no doubt I'll have a wonderful time.
